Two months after Twitter launched longer tweets, only 5% of users exceeded 140 characters. Tweets between 120-130 characters get the highest engagement. Try not to go over 120 characters in a Facebook post. Shooting video? The ideal social media video is less than 2 minutes in length. Your viewers won't watch anything much longer than that. Oh, and one more tip--use subtitles in your video for those who want to watch it at work with the sound off! (Shhhh!)
