The Courage to Continue
In the 2017 movie, "Darkest Hour," Winston Churchill’s wife gives him a bit of advice.
“You are strong because you’re imperfect, you’re wise because you have doubts.”
Today’s history books don’t emphasize the fact that the embattled Churchill was not understood by his contemporaries to be the hero of WWII as he is recognized today. He had his haters. He had doubts, and he certainly wasn’t perfect.
We tend to think that history’s heroes never experienced doubt, fear, or trepidation. But they did, just like we do. The key is to have the courage to continue. Keep Pushing Forward.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.”
